From where does this come from?
Performance Science

The idea and knowledge are taken from sports. The American Institute of Sport and many other sports institutions have been researching how to help athletes during their competitions and Olympic Games for years. Mental training coaches are recently becoming essential in the sports field.
All the knowledge and research is applicable to music. It is the most advanced and modern way of learning music and performing.
If they can achieve
that in sport
-
we can achieve
that in music!
For who?
The program is designed for professional musicians.
After many years of studying and playing concerts, regular fears and anxieties are well-managed by your body and brain. You are at a high technical and musical level, and can perform solo, in the orchestra, and in chamber music. Sometimes you feel your heart racing, but after many years of experience, those moments mostly push you towards doing well. The methods which I present are designed to help professional musicians perform better under pressure, not necessarily only when and if they feel stressed. Mental training helps advanced musicians push their level even higher and develop during their music career, presenting their full potential which is often hidden inside them. These methods help your body and brain unlock your limited abilities and open the space to unlimited possibilities that are inside you. Without forcing your body, you will start playing better, taking more pleasure from your playing and performing. Once again, you will feel the curiosity and joy of a kid, playing and discovering new potential in your talent.

If you are preparing for competitions, your body and brain need to be ready for a long, big battle. You are probably practicing for months or years to perform well during this short amount of time. Practicing technique and musical aspects alone is not enough today to win a competition. You need to be able to deal with all the stress and present yourself at 100% during this one performance. Other participants are already learning how to present their best, but what will make you a winner is preparation for unexpected circumstances that always appear in our lives, taking us away from our paths. Mental techniques will help you stay on your way and win.

If you are a young musician still studying at school or university, the methods I present will help you perform better during examinations, recitals, or just during your lessons. You will be able to record better, which will help you get to your dream summer camp or other musical training methods. Mental training will help you deal with fears and anxiety that come to you before and during important performances.
The level of anxiety big enough to lock your abilities inside you is just the first step of mental training, and I would say the easier one. After you break the barrier of your fears, it will open up many rooms for creativity that will surprise you and drive you to discover all of them. Why? Because each of them brings you huge pleasure from your performing, which will make you happier on and off the stage.

eNERGY
When we experience our heart beating rapidly, we often assume it's a result of stress. However, sometimes this pumping sensation can be due to an abundance of energy that inspires us to move our bodies uncontrollably, or motivates us to perform at our best. Other times, we might feel that we have a brilliant idea for playing a piece better than we've practiced, but is it truly an improvement?
